Reasons to be cheerful
Back in January, we were brimming with optimism about what 2020 would hold, but you know what they say: you make plans and people laugh.
Even now, with vaccinations starting to come through, there are challenging times ahead. And while the impact on our sector hasn’t been as severe as it could have been, we can’t forget the frustration, loss and hardship that many have experienced in 2020.
Christmas will be different this year, but there is still reason to celebrate: this troublesome year has brought out the very best in people: resilience and determination, kindness, sacrifice and compassion. This is a battle, but we’ve got the heart and spirit to win.
And on that optimistic note, with no guarantees of a smooth road ahead, we’re wishing you and yours all the best.
