Lancashire Trade Frames celebrates 20 years in business

On Monday April 3rd 2023, we celebrate our 20th birthday. In a sector that’s faced many challenges over the last two decades, it’s a remarkable achievement. Even more so, when you realise that ‘Lancs Trade’ has achieved consistent growth throughout its history.

Naturally, there have been changes over the years. We have relocated twice. We have added aluminium products and composite doors to our original PVCu range and have constantly looked for new ideas to serve and support our customer base.

Our operation is both highly accredited and an award winner. In 2022, we won the National Fenestration Awards’ coveted Manufacturer/Fabricator of the year title and have bagged many other titles over the years. But as thoughts turn to celebrations of the 20th anniversary, we asked MD Mark Rowland what he thought lay behind the success. “Loyalty,” he said, before going on to explain that loyalty was a thread that ran through the entire operation. “We’re a family business, but we’re loyal to the wider family of our staff, our community, our customers and our suppliers.”

Some of those loyal suppliers will be joining the birthday celebrations. Total Hardware and Spectus have supplied Lancs Trade from day 1, and Spectus plans to make a presentation to mark the long association. Guests will be given an in-depth tour of the operation, and invited to take part in a quiz about the other milestone events of 2003.

While happy and willing to reminisce about the company’s journey so far, Mark Rowland is very keen to talk about where the business is heading next. He told us, “After twenty years, our determination to be the fabricator of choice is shining brighter than ever. The future is looking bright.”
